“Life unexpected and involuntarily becoming different doesn't have to be a bad thing if we choose.”
Regina Diann
One of the most essential ventures that I founded after my loss was Widow's Mansion Foundation (WMF) in 2015. The mission of WMF is to provide transitional housing and support for widows and widowers. Many of these individuals experienced the tragedy of losing a spouse. When you lose someone so close to you, you feel as though your spirit is shattered to millions of pieces; you experience so many emotions at once. You feel anger, despair, disbelief, and shock, at all once. Thankfully there was never a concern as to where me and my kids would live. Unfortunately, I had limited emotional and physical support from family and friends. My church family and my own strength to continue on with my life were my driving forces. Many widows and widowers depended on their spouses for financial and emotional support, and most find themselves lost. In certain cases, these individuals lose their homes or other assets, and many find themselves alone with no family or friends to nurture and guide them. In many ways, this is also a tragedy. I am committed to bringing about change in the lives of these individuals. WMF is corporately funded by TWG Insurance and Financial Services which means that 100% of all donations go directly to those in need at WMF. With every family, we protect we serve a family that may not have been protected.
